Parang Nation (Malaya)

Parang machete in KHHI-style, built to perform and last in the toughest environments.

Inspired by the traditional parang machete, the Parang Nation has been enhanced for durability and performance in the harsh conditions similar to the Malayan jungle.

Designed for heavy-duty use, it features a thick 10mm blade that provides excellent chopping and cutting power. The slightly curved belly creates a large cutting sweet spot, while the straighter profile improves practicality for chopping compared to traditional curved blades.

Handforged from high carbon steel, it is partially heat-treated by blacksmiths from Nepal using the time test method, which has proven itself to date. The same making method goes for making this Parang for a sharp and durable edge.

Unlike traditional parangs with hidden tangs, this model boasts a full tang construction, ensuring greater strength, balance, and durability. The handle is ergonomically designed with a slight curve and includes a lanyard loop hole, allowing for a secure hand guard loop to prevent slipping.

Each parang comes with a traditional Nepali-style wood-over-leather scabbard, replacing the standard Malayan style for better support of the heavier blade.
