Rough Rider Bowie, a coffin-shaped handle, dedicated to the heroic 'Rough Riders'

Designed by swords, knife enthusiasts Brian xing, and crafted by the master kukri makers at KHHI nepal, as the first design that came to life the rough rider had many thoughts put into it, but after days of drawing and rethinking I decided to create a knife that can do it all, a all-round usage large bowie.

The rough rider was based on some of the oldest bowie designs with a large blade, no guard and a traditional coffin shaped handle, but as a hard use knife in modern day there had to be some changes.

The rebirthed rough rider can only be discribed as an monster of a knife, with a 12inch long 8mm thick broad blade equipped with a hollow-grind edge it can perform tasks from chopping trees to cutting onions, the guardless design allows it to perform kitchen tasks if necessary, the coffin shaped handle tho keeping its coffin silhouette for the artistic side of things, corners that traditional coffin handles possess are now rounded, allowing the user to weild it with no discomfort especially for such a large knife, also equipped with a large steel pumle with a flat surface that's welded to the full-tang handle it is basically a completely usable hammer, acting as a counter balance for the blade too, making such a large heavy knife surprisingly lively for its size, wich means if there's needs to defend yourself with it the large blade won't drag you down in a scuffle, tho lacking any form of a guard tho swell leading towards the blade on the handle prevents the hand from slipping up.

Pared with an kukri style wooden scabbard with leather coverings the rough rider bowie will hang nicely on your belt no matter where you go.
