Wildcat Knife is Hybrid output of German Seax and Bowie...

Designer : Tim Schwitter

The Wildcat Bowie - true to its name giver is a compact yet capable fighter with a touch of classic elegance.

Wildcat
The idea behind the Wildcat Bowie was to create a knife that combines two distinct blades (the Bowie and the Seax) while also incorporating classic looks with modern design elements. The blade is made of 6mm thick 5160 steel and features an angled flat clip with a false edge towards a low tip while still retaining a very slight belly - For all intents and purposes a synthesis of the Germanic Seax and classic Bowie knife designs. The ricasso comes in form of a generous sharpening choil which allows the user to choke up and lock in with the index finger. The slightly curved handle is of a more modern shape featuring a finger recess towards the blade. Still thanks to its flat rosewood handles it keeps a rustic old-timey charm without sacrificing too much grip and comfort.

Thanks to its full tang construction, hefty thickness, and needle-sharp point it can pierce like a dagger and chop like a cleaver. A capable little beast that doesn't immediately scare "polite people" with a tactical modern appearance - just like how a real wildcat is a capable little predator which doesn't look that dangerous (but still shouldn't be messed with)
